STEPPING OFF THE CAROUSEL is an expression of a decision concerning the venues in which my Art was being presented, not represented. Taking up wall space waiting for a buyer. The horse represents for me, a creature that is wild and free. The color of the horse is blue and is seen as trustworthy, dependable and committed. The red outlines are a warm and positive color associated with our most physical needs and our will to survive. It exudes a strong and powerful masculine energy. Red is energizing. It excites the emotions and motivates us to take action. It signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. The decision was made to step off the carousel and step into the darkness of the unknown and be wild and free with the passion of Art.
